Our founder, Joan Fiander, has been in various aspects of the building industry for 20+ years. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge that every client benefits from. She also has many contacts in the building industry. If she doesn’t know the answer, she knows where to go to get it. Integrity, honesty and reliability are all watchwords for Joan’s work over the years, a reputation that has helped her to develop her many contacts within the industry.

We believe that teamwork is essential to a building project. Any building project, whether it is a renovation/remodel or a new build requires many decisions to be made. It is essential that the homeowner be equipped with the knowledge required to make informed decisions. One of our strengths is the ability to work with the homeowner by providing the information and options available in order to make a decision that will work in the long term for the homeowner. We speak both the homeowner’s language and the contractor’s. We can help the homeowner to understand the ramifications of the decision that they are making, and can present both the pros, and cons, of each of the options.
